Somos Hermanos is a sophisticated mix of timba, salsa, hip hop, pop, rock and other worldly influences. The album features excellent arrangements framed by superb vocals, mostly by Evelio Jaz Ramos with a few hot tracks sung by Van Van frontman Mario "Mayito" Rivera. Radiant stuff, mostly timba and salsa based material - and a hybrid effort between some of Cuba's hottest young musicians and Swiss composer/pianist/trombonist Martin Richard Lehner (El Zorro).
