This album delivers what the title promises -straight up classic Cuban son and descargas (jams). There is great interplay between the vocalists and master trumpeter Julio "Julito" Padrón. Check him out on "Recordando Al Sonero" and "Me Voy Contigo". Live versions of many of these tunes are available on En Vivo, which was recorded in Milan, Italy.
