Founded by CARLOS CARO (percussion - born in Guanajay, in the Havana province of Cuba), SAUL SIERRA (bass - born in Mexico City) and MARCO DÍAZ (trumpet, piano - a San Francisco native), and known as the top rhythm section in the Bay Area, VISSIÓN LATINA is a unique musical project that features the trio's original compositions.
VL has backed up top artists like Pete "El Conde" Rodríguez, Jimmy Bosch, Israel Cachao López, Herman Olivera, Nino Segarra, Anthony Cruz, Ska Cubano, Bobi Céspedes, John Santos, QBA, Candela, Tito Nieves, and Eddie Santiago.
