Veritably overflowing with world-class talent, this album features top-notch arrangements and instrumentalists paired with the hottest vocalists of the time to make this a true homage to "El Caballero del Son" Adalberto Álvarez.

It is indicative of Adalberto's success that such a powerhouse group of artists have come together to interpret his music.

A tremendous starting point are the stellar arrangements of Lázaro D. González, Juan Manuel Ceruto and Germán Velazco. González' shines in his arrangement of "Agua que cae del cielo" while Ceruto infuses his selections with jazz and harder edged timba. These are wonderfully interpreted by players like Alexander Abreu, Yonder de Jesús Peña, Orlando Pérez, and Pancho Amat, with vocalists Aramís Galindo, a veteran of Adalberto's many bands, Mario "Mayito" Rivera and Pedro Calvo of Los Van Van fame, NG la Banda's Tony Calá, the classic sonero Raúl Planas and timba's young lion Michel Maza, all important figures in Cuban music.

A true all-star lineup and TRIBUTE to Adalberto. A must have record for Cuban music collectors.
